With the requirements of energy conservation and emission reduction planning and people's pursuit of green and environmentally friendly buildings, low-e glass has been widely used in contemporary buildings, becoming the more commonly used type of glass for building exterior walls. Most domestic glass deep processing enterprises also have the processing ability of low-e glass, but some processing enterprises do not operate according to regulations, resulting in greater waste in production and inability to guarantee the quality of finished products. Most of the problems found occur after tempering, which is too late and greatly increases the number of patches. Based on years of experience in glass deep processing enterprises, the following cutting precautions are summarized by the editor:
Cutting precautions
1. Before using the original film, attention should be paid to the shelf life (3-6 months before opening the box). Before optimizing the layout, the ordering room should pay attention to using the original film close to the shelf life reasonably while ensuring the cutting rate.
2. The cutting oil used for cutting is offline LOWE specific cutting oil, and it is not recommended to use kerosene. Kerosene residue on the original sheet is difficult to remove during the cleaning process, causing delamination.
3. The cutting personnel need to wear masks (to prevent saliva from splashing onto the film surface) and soft cloth gloves (to prevent scratches on the film surface).
4. The unloading personnel shall place foam cotton or cork pad between two pieces of glass to prevent scratches, indentation, etc. on the film surface. Note: the foam cotton or cork pad shall not be placed more than 12mm from the edge to prevent the film surface from being polluted. If enterprises whose equipment is not automatically connected need lowe glass to be transferred between sections, it is recommended that the number of pieces placed on each glass should not exceed 70, for example, 6mm thick.
5. When placing a piece of glass, the personnel responsible for placing it should face inward to prevent the film surface of the glass from coming into contact with the support of the turnover rack, which may cause indentation on the film surface.
