Fireproof glass has good light transmission and fire resistance properties, mainly used in openings and courtyards for fire separation, and can also be used for local firewall openings. Fireproof glass has different classification methods according to different classification methods. There are mainly the following classification methods:
1、 According to structural classification, fire-resistant glass can be divided into composite fire-resistant glass and single piece fire-resistant glass:
Composite fire-resistant glass: a special type of glass that is composed of two or more layers of glass, or one layer of glass and organic materials, and meets the corresponding fire resistance requirements. Represented by FFB.
Single pane fire-resistant glass: a special type of glass composed of a single layer of glass that meets the corresponding fire resistance requirements. Represented by DFB.
2、 According to the classification of fire resistance performance, fire-resistant glass can be divided into insulated fire-resistant glass (Class A) and non insulated fire-resistant glass (Class C), abbreviated as Class A fire-resistant glass and Class C fire-resistant glass:
Insulated fire-resistant glass (Class A): fire-resistant glass that meets both fire integrity and fire insulation requirements.
Non insulated fire-resistant glass (Class C): fire-resistant glass with fire resistance performance that meets the requirements of fire integrity as much as possible. Note: There is no Class B fire-resistant glass available.
3、 According to the classification of fire resistance limit, fire-resistant glass can be divided into five grades: 0.50h, 1.00h, 1.50h, 2.00h, and 3.00h.
